The Buying Desk / method

Here's how it works.

You send the question. I check whether I can answer it. Then I research it and send the report. No account, dashboard, or automated checkout.

The sequence

From question to verdict.

Build the request

Choose a service, describe the intended use, and include the relevant products, listings, budget, or deal-breakers.

Confirm scope

I'll reply by email with what I can check, what the report will cover, how long it'll take, and the price. I wont start until you agree.

Receive the report

The email report leads with the verdict, then shows evidence, risks, questions to ask, limitations, and confidence.

Evidence labels

What I know and how.

  • Personally testedI've used, built, or repaired it myself.
  • Measured researchCredible documentation or independent measurement.
  • Listing informationA seller or manufacturer claim that hasn’t been independently verified.
  • Insufficient evidenceSomething important is missing, so confidence drops.

Remote means remote

A listing check isnt an inspection. Screenshots help. They still cant prove everything. Audio is subjective, so I'll give you useful buying advice instead of pretending I ran a lab.
